Duty 44 arrived O/S with nothing evident from a 500x60 barn that was reported to be housing 125,000 chickens. Co 17 units arrived and began investigating and found a small fire in the manure chute. The fire was quickly extinguished and no chickens were lost and the box was scaled back to Co 17 & ET 8. Units went in service shortly after confirming no further extension.
